CATTLE BARON’S BALL: OVER $250,000 RAISED FOR HOPE CENTER

Queenslake Horse Farm was honored to host the 2026 Cattle Baron's Ball, bringing together community champions, generous corporate sponsors, and country music fans under the soaring draped arches of our Grand Arena Hall.

A heartfelt thank you to the American Cancer Society, country music powerhouse and headline performer Dillon Carmichael, our dedicated event volunteers, and every donor who opened their hearts.

Together, the evening surpassed all expectations, raising more than $250,000 to directly support the Hope Center / Hope Lodge. This vital non-profit lodging initiative provides cost-free, compassionate housing, meals, transportation, and counseling resources for cancer patients and their families traveling to Central Kentucky for life-saving oncology care.

19 PERMANENT MEMORIAL PLAQUES INSTALLED ALONG QUEENSLAKE TRAILS

1.8-Mile Trail Network

Along Queenslake's 1.8-mile wooded perimeter trail and lakeside network, 19 custom bronze memorial plaques have been permanently mounted to honor each individual American hero of Operation Gothic Serpent (the 1993 Battle of Mogadishu).

Each plaque details the service member's unit, valorous citations, and sacrifice during the intense urban combat of Task Force Ranger. Visitors, ruckers, military families, and B&B guests can walk this shaded Bluegrass canopy in peaceful contemplation of their enduring legacy.

Over the years, the Mogadishu Mile Kentucky has grown into the most popular, reverent, and widely attended Mogadishu commemorative event in the United States. Tactical athletes, active-duty special operations units, collegiate ROTC battalions, and patriotic families gather at Queenslake to honor the valor and sacrifice of the 19 fallen heroes of Task Force Ranger (1993 Battle of Mogadishu).

Athletes conquer genuine military obstacles, running waves carrying heavy ammo cans, American flags, and replica M16 "rubber ducks" under realistic tactical conditions.

Black Hawk Pilots & Gold Star Families

Attended by real-life Night Stalker pilots and veterans of the 1993 battle—including Mike Durant, James Yacone, and Dan Jollota—alongside beloved Gold Star wives and families.

Festival & Recovery Care

Finish line festivities featuring local food trucks, craft beverages, sports massage, therapeutic laser treatments, and complimentary commemorative tattoos for participants.

100% Veteran G4V Concert

A live music festival on our lakeside stage performed entirely by 100% military veterans who received their acoustic guitars and music lessons through Guitars for Vets (G4V).
