6th Annual Mogadishu Mile Kentucky
Tactical 1.8-Mile Obstacle Course • Mogadishu Cup • G4V Music FestivalCommemorates the 19 fallen soldiers of Task Force Ranger from the 1993 Battle of Mogadishu. Runners and ruckers conquer a 1.8-mile obstacle challenge featuring tire flips, Mike Durant box jumps, battle ropes, hay bale carries, natural water crossings, and the collegiate Mogadishu Cup.
Lakeside music festival in partnership with Guitars for Vets (G4V) featuring live country & patriotic artists, veteran songwriters, local food trucks, bourbon tastings, and 100% free community admission.
Opens at 8:00 AM with bagpipes echoing across the lake by Tore DeRolf, followed by a silent Friesian caisson procession with a flag-draped casket and the official Roll Call reading of the names.
Queenslake Winter Lights
Celebrate the holiday season with illuminated lakeside carriage rides, glowing pasture light displays, campfire hot cocoa bars, and holiday music showcases.
Spring Equine & Farm Festival
Annual season opening featuring open-barn tours, dressage riding demonstrations, baby farm animal nursery encounters, and guided trail hacking.
